Role Overview
As an HR Operations Expert, you will play a crucial role in enhancing HR processes by developing structured evaluations that align with established performance metrics. Your work will involve creating detailed scenarios that reflect real-world HR tasks, ensuring that each task has definitive answers and measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop scenarios for employee inquiries, including policy questions with documented correct answers and benefits inquiries based on plan documentation.
- Create lifecycle event tasks, such as onboarding and offboarding checklists, and leave decisions grounded in FMLA/ADA regulations.
- Execute HRIS tasks, including data updates with clear before and after states and benefits enrollment based on rule-based eligibility.
- Engage in focused sessions to build challenging scenarios that require attention to detail and critical thinking.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR operations or people operations.
- Proficiency in at least one HRIS platform (e.g., Workday, Rippling, BambooHR, Gusto, Justworks) and knowledge of leave administration (FMLA, ADA), benefits administration, and FLSA classification.
- Ability to read and produce HR documentation, including policy responses, offer letters, change forms, and leave decisions.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to articulate reasoning clearly and encode it into deterministic rubrics.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
This position is remote and offered on an hourly basis.
CompensationCompensation ranges from $55 to $80 per hour, depending on your expertise and prior experience. High-performing contributors will have opportunities for promotion based on the quality and throughput of their work.
