As a Film Editor, you will play a crucial role in enhancing high-quality data for AI model development. This position offers the opportunity to leverage your expertise in video editing while collaborating with a dynamic, expert-level remote team focused on innovation in film production and technology.
Key Responsibilities- Edit and assemble raw footage into compelling, seamless video content according to project guidelines and creative briefs.
- Review, select, and sequence footage for narrative clarity, pacing, emotion, and technical precision.
- Collaborate with other expert editors and project managers to ensure consistency and quality in data annotation and video processing.
- Provide detailed feedback on video editing quality to improve data assets for AI training purposes.
- Maintain clear, prompt, and professional written and verbal communication with the team.
- Utilize advanced editing software and best practices to deliver polished results within tight deadlines.
- Adapt quickly to evolving project requirements and integrate feedback efficiently.
- Native English speaker from a native English-speaking country (required for linguistic and cultural accuracy).
- Proven expertise in professional video or film editing, with a strong portfolio demonstrating advanced skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, including the capacity to convey complex feedback clearly.
- Mastery of industry-standard video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Demonstrated attention to detail and a keen eye for narrative structure, visual flow, and continuity.
- Thorough understanding of video formats, codecs, frame rates, and post-production workflows.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced remote environment.
Employment Type: Contract
CompensationHourly rate ranges from $15 to $65.
