About this role
As a Cell Biologist, you will play a pivotal role in advancing AI training through your expertise in experimental systems and cellular mechanisms. Your knowledge of mammalian cell culture, transfection methods, and clonal isolation will be essential in driving significant breakthroughs in understanding experimental variability and biological systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and execute experiments utilizing mammalian cell culture and transfection techniques.
- Isolate and establish clonal cell lines while monitoring cellular phenotypes.
- Investigate the structure, organization, and function of cells and organelles.
- Evaluate and document sources of experimental variability across various model systems.
- Develop and optimize experimental protocols to ensure reproducibility and scalability.
- Collaborate with AI training teams to convert biological insights into high-quality datasets.
- Clearly communicate scientific findings through well-structured written and verbal reports.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Cell Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on laboratory experience with mammalian cell culture.
- Proficiency in transfection methods and clonal isolation techniques.
- Expert understanding of experimental systems and variability across biological models.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing clarity and detail.
- High level of organizational and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and remotely within a cross-functional team.
- Experience with rubcris or similar gene editing platforms.
- Previous involvement in projects for AI training or data labeling.
- Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in a relevant field.
Contract position, fully remote.
Compensation:$40 - $60 per hour.
