CAD tool specialists apply hands-on design and modeling expertise to help improve how AI understands real-world technical work.
Key Responsibilities- Use domain expertise to develop CAD-focused prompts and evaluate large language model responses.
- Contribute to AI research projects that reflect practical professional tasks in CAD and related technical disciplines.
- At least 1+ year of full-time experience using one or more relevant CAD tools.
- Relevant tools include AutoCAD Mechanical, Autodesk Inventor Professional, Rhino 3D, LibreCAD, SolveSpace, and related technical tools.
- Ability to work asynchronously with AI research teams.
- Remote, part-time, and asynchronous work that can be completed independently from your location.
- Flexible hours with no minimum hourly commitment.
- Projects are available year-round, with opportunities opening periodically across areas of expertise.
- Assignment to a project depends on project availability.
Up to $125/hr (depending on the project).
Eligibility- F-1 students eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible for projects. Consult your Designated School Official to confirm eligibility.
- If your school requires a CPT course, these projects may not meet that requirement.
- STEM OPT is not supported.
