Accountant with US Experience

Join a dynamic team as an Accountant specializing in US experience for a unique short-term project focused on AI training. This role offers the opportunity to leverage your expertise in US GAAP and finance within mid-sized companies to develop and annotate high-quality accounting datasets for next-generation AI models, all while working remotely.

• Review, annotate, and validate financial data for AI training purposes using your US accounting experience.
• Apply GAAP (US) standards to ensure the accuracy and relevance of financial information.
• Collaborate with an AI development team, providing subject matter expertise and detailed feedback on accounting processes.
• Utilize ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, and QuickBooks to offer insights on accounting workflows and best practices.
• Support quality assurance by auditing training datasets and identifying inconsistencies or gaps.
• Document complex accounting concepts and scenarios clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Engage in regular communication with project managers to ensure deliverables meet required standards and timelines.

• Minimum of 4 years of US accounting experience, specifically in mid-tier, mid-cap, or small-cap companies (no experience in large or big tech firms).
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and hands-on experience with CPA responsibilities.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, ideally SAP, NetSuite, and QuickBooks.
• Experience in financial annotation, auditing, and process documentation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
• Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Prior experience training or supporting AI or technology-driven projects.
• Background in designing or optimizing accounting processes within mid-sized organizations.
• Advanced certification or specialized training in ERP systems.

This is a temporary project designed for expert accountants eager to make a lasting impact in AI development.

Hourly rate of $90 - $100.
