Telecommunications Professional for AI Model Evaluation

Engage with leading AI labs as a telecommunications expert to enhance AI systems'' reasoning in network architecture, telecom operations, and communications technology. This role involves applying your expertise in cellular network design, broadband infrastructure, VoIP, and regulatory compliance to evaluate and improve AI performance on telecommunications-specific tasks. This project-based opportunity has the potential for ongoing engagement based on performance and project needs.

• Review and evaluate AI-generated outputs related to network architecture design, telecom operations workflows, spectrum management, and communications technology analysis.
• Create realistic scenarios based on telecommunications workflows, including network provisioning, fault management, spectrum allocation decisions, regulatory filings (FCC), and customer service escalation processes.
• Annotate, label, and validate data across telecom use cases, such as network topology accuracy, QoS parameter recommendations, protocol identification, and regulatory compliance assessments.
• Provide structured feedback on AI accuracy in telecom standards and protocols (3GPP, IEEE 802.11, SIP, MPLS), regulatory frameworks (FCC, ITU, ETSI), and industry-specific terminology.
• Collaborate asynchronously with research teams to refine evaluation frameworks for telecommunications AI.

• 3+ years of professional experience in telecommunications at a carrier, MVNO, ISP, equipment vendor, or enterprise communications organization.
• Background in one or more areas such as:
• Wireless/cellular networks (4G/LTE, 5G NR, RAN engineering, core network).
• Wireline/broadband infrastructure (fiber, cable, DSL, FTTH).
• Network operations, NOC management, or field engineering.
• VoIP, unified communications, or enterprise telephony.
• Telecom regulatory affairs, product management, or OSS/BSS systems.
• Professional certifications a plus (CCNA/CCNP, CWNA, CompTIA Network+, TIA credentials).
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate network and operations workflows into structured evaluation tasks.
• Clear written communication and attention to detail.
