Sudanese Language Expert

As a Sudanese Language Expert, you will play a crucial role in developing advanced linguistic solutions that enhance AI systems. Your deep understanding of the Sudanese language will ensure that content, translations, and communications maintain high linguistic quality and cultural nuance.

• Translate, review, and edit a variety of written materials between Sudanese and English with impeccable accuracy.
• Assess and enhance the quality of Sudanese language data for AI training and human linguistic projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine linguistic guidelines and best practices.
• Create culturally relevant content, idiomatic expressions, and use-case scenarios in Sudanese.
• Analyze, annotate, and provide feedback on Sudanese text to improve natural language processing models.
• Ensure all communications and deliverables meet high standards of clarity, tone, and cultural sensitivity.
• Support ongoing development of Sudanese language resources and AI tools.

• Native or near-native proficiency in Sudanese language, with strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in translation, editing, and linguistic projects involving Sudanese.
• Excellent command of written communication and meticulous attention to linguistic detail.
• Proven ability to work independently and remotely with expert-level professionalism.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities for linguistic data assessment.
• Familiarity with linguistic annotation, language technology, or AI language models.
• Ability to provide insightful feedback and adapt to evolving project needs.

• Experience as an AI language trainer or in data annotation for AI projects.
• Background in computational linguistics or language-related technology fields.
• Prior work on global or cross-cultural linguistic teams.

Contract position, fully remote.

Hourly rate of $40 - $95.
