Role Overview

Contribute a de-identified Apple Health export to support a real-world health dataset that combines HealthKit information, including activity, heart and sleep data, with clinical records from a connected health provider.

Key Responsibilities

• Fully populate your Apple HealthKit profile across all applicable categories. Profiles containing only step data are not eligible.
• Connect health records from at least one qualifying institution through Apple’s Health Records network.
• Ensure the linked electronic health record includes immunizations, lab results, medications, vital signs, and clinical notes.
• Consent to share four demographic attributes: age, gender, approximate region, and activity level.
• Submit a genuine export from your own Health app, with continuous history rather than a single day of data.

Qualifications

• You must have visited at least one of the qualifying institutions and have that institution’s health records actively connected to Apple HealthKit.
• Your export must be your own, not synthetic or a demo.
• Clinical Notes must be included in the connected health record. Submissions without clinical notes cannot be accepted or paid and will be returned.
• Consent for all four required demographic attributes is mandatory.

Privacy

Your identity and raw health information are not included in the dataset. Exports are de-identified before analysis using a HIPAA Safe Harbor style process: identifiers are removed, dates and locations are generalized, and notes are scrubbed. You receive a random ID, while the connection to your identity is stored separately and does not travel with the data. You may withdraw consent at any time to be removed.

Work Terms

• Remote, one-time participation for U.S. iPhone users.
• Submit one export per participant, with an optional later re-export to refresh your data.

Compensation

$60 for an accepted one-time submission.
