Computational Chemistry Research Specialist for AI Projects

Role Overview:

Join a dynamic team as a Research Quality Specialist in Computational Chemistry, where your analytical skills and computational expertise will be pivotal in designing and solving complex scientific problems. Key Responsibilities:

Quantitative Problem Design and Solutioning:

• Develop and conceptualize original, research-grade or graduate-level scientific problems utilizing Python for scientific coding and programming.
• Define problem categories, assign secondary tags, and establish appropriate difficulty levels rigorously.
• Ensure accuracy, reliability, and logical coherence in solving formulated problems using sound principles.

Quality Assurance & Collaboration:

• Participate in two-tier reviews, meticulously evaluating the accuracy of problems and solutions.
• Collaborate with reviewers and team leads, proactively incorporating feedback to refine content and enhance overall quality.

Qualifications:

• PhD or PhD candidates in Computational Chemistry.
• At least 1 published peer-reviewed paper.
• Advanced proficiency in Python programming for scientific coding is preferred.
• Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and collaboration.

Work Terms:

• Commitment: 40 hours/week with 4 hours of PST overlap.
• Engagement type: Contractor assignment/freelancer (no medical/paid leave).
• Duration: 8 weeks; expected start date is next week.
• Location: Open to candidates in Bangladesh, Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Ghana, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Kenya, Nigeria, Turkey, Vietnam.
