Accounts Payable Analyst

Role Overview

Support accurate, efficient financial operations in a remote, full-time Accounts Payable Analyst role. You will manage high-volume invoice and expense processing, assist with payroll and payroll tax activities, and help strengthen accounts payable processes across a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of invoices and expense reports accurately and on time.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and promptly resolve discrepancies.
• Support payroll processing and the accurate application of payroll taxes.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to address payment inquiries.
• Maintain complete, compliant vendor records.
• Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting.
• Identify and implement improvements that streamline accounts payable operations.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of hands-on accounts payable experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of payroll functions and payroll tax regulations.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex discrepancies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred: experience in a remote or distributed team, familiarity with large ERP or accounting systems, and post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Compensation
