Key Responsibilities- Review technical problems, solutions, and explanations within mechanical engineering for accuracy, completeness, and methodological soundness.
- Identify errors, ambiguities, or gaps in reasoning and provide clear, well-justified feedback.
- Apply consistent evaluation standards across a range of mechanical engineering subdomains, including statics and dynamics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, mechanics of materials, and machine design.
- Calibrate your judgments against established quality benchmarks to ensure consistency and reliability.
- Contribute to maintaining a high bar for technical quality across the body of work you review.
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field (Bachelor''s required; Master''s or PhD a plus).
- Strong command of core mechanical engineering fundamentals and the ability to rigorously solve problems from first principles.
- Sharp attention to detail and the ability to spot subtle technical errors.
- Clear written communication skills and the ability to articulate the rationale behind correctness or incorrectness.
- Comfort working independently and applying structured evaluation criteria consistently.
- Prior experience in technical review, grading, tutoring, or QA is a plus but not required.
This is a remote engagement with hourly compensation.
CompensationHourly rate of $90.
