This role focuses on enhancing the quality of AI-generated executive-level business reports and strategic recommendations. As a market research specialist, you will define standards for exceptional business research, create high-quality reports that tackle complex business questions, and evaluate the reasoning and outputs produced by AI systems. Key Responsibilities- Report Framework Development
- Define standards for high-quality business research reports and executive communications.
- Establish best practices for evidence interpretation, research synthesis, insight generation, and recommendation development.
- Help create evaluation rubrics that distinguish exceptional, average, and poor-quality outputs.
- Report Writing
- Analyze business questions generated by AI systems.
- Synthesize research findings from multiple sources into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Produce decision-ready reports comparable to research and insights deliverables presented to executive leadership.
- Session Scoring & Evaluation
- Review AI-generated research and reporting workflows across:
- Consistency of reasoning and recommendations.
- Accuracy of analyses and interpretations.
- Appropriateness of confidence assessments.
- Quality of logical reasoning.
- Executive readiness of final outputs.
- Provide detailed feedback and scoring rationale.
- Must Have
- 3+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, or customer research.
- Experience at Kantar, NielsenIQ, GfK, Gartner, Forrester, Circana (IRI), Mintel, Euromonitor, or a comparable research organization.
- Expertise in survey methodology and questionnaire design.
- Experience conducting concept tests, message tests, brand tracking, or customer research studies.
- Experience producing executive-facing presentations and reports.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Preferred
- Experience across CPG, healthcare/pharma, financial services, retail, or consumer sectors.
- Experience presenting findings and recommendations directly to senior executives.
- Experience evaluating research quality, methodologies, and deliverables.
- Experience managing large-scale research programs.
- Engagement Length: 1 month initially, with potential extension.
- Commitment: 40 hours during the first week (training, calibration, and framework development), followed by approximately 15 hours per week for the remainder of the engagement.
