Mandarin Language Expert for AI Training

As a Mandarin Language Expert, you will leverage your linguistic skills to contribute to the training of next-generation AI systems. Your expertise will directly influence how models learn, reason, and perform by providing high-quality, real-world language input. This role does not require prior experience in AI; your domain knowledge is what is essential.

• Record high-quality audio samples in Mandarin, ensuring clarity and accuracy of pronunciation.
• Transcribe and annotate Mandarin speech data with precision and consistency.
• Evaluate audio recordings for quality, linguistic accuracy, and adherence to phonetic standards.
• Collaborate closely with the customer''s team to ensure project requirements and quality benchmarks are met.
• Apply knowledge of Mandarin phonetics and pronunciation nuances when recording or reviewing content.
• Offer constructive feedback and suggestions to improve processes, workflows, and data quality.
• Support AI workflow development through accurate labeling, annotation, and quality evaluation.

• Native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, with exceptional command of pronunciation and intonation.
• Demonstrated understanding of Mandarin phonetics and nuances in spoken language.
• Strong audio transcription and annotation abilities, with high attention to detail.
• Experience with quality evaluation in linguistic or audio contexts.
• Familiarity with speech data collection or audio recording processes.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.

• Experience as an audio engineer, voice actor, podcaster, musician, or in a similar audio recording role.
• Prior involvement with AI workflows or speech data projects.
• Background in linguistics or applied language studies.

Employment Type: Contract, Remote

Hourly rate: $10 - $40
