LMMS Audio Engineer for AI Model Training

As an LMMS Expert, you will leverage your music production skills to contribute to the training of next-generation AI systems. Your expertise will play a crucial role in shaping how AI models learn and perform through high-quality, real-world input. This is an opportunity to apply your domain knowledge without requiring prior experience in AI.

• Produce and document entire music projects within LMMS, from initial concept to final master export.
• Exhibit creative and technical decision-making throughout the processes of composition, sound design, arrangement, mixing, and mastering.
• Demonstrate hands-on expertise using LMMS across Linux, Mac, and Windows operating systems.
• Work with various genres and project types, including electronic, hip-hop, pop, game audio, experimental, and podcasts.
• Utilize and explain advanced LMMS features such as MIDI sequencing, effect processing, plugin integration, automation, and problem-solving techniques.
• Provide clear written and verbal updates to communicate your workflow, challenges, and rationale as part of a collaborative documentation process.
• Contribute feedback and insights to refine AI models aimed at emulating authentic, professional music production practices.

• Proven hands-on expertise in completing full music production projects using LMMS as the primary DAW.
• Comprehensive understanding of sound design, mixing, and music arrangement within LMMS.
• Proficiency in operating LMMS on Linux, Mac, or Windows platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate production concepts and creative choices.
• Demonstrated experience managing all phases of audio projects from concept to final export.
• Familiarity with a wide range of project types and genres.
• Problem-solving attitude and ability to document real-world workflows in detail.

• Experience delivering educational content, tutorials, or workflow walkthroughs for music production.
• Background in collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, particularly on technical or creative projects.
• Passion for music technology, digital audio tools, and AI-driven creative solutions.

Contract position with remote work flexibility.

Hourly pay ranges from $40 to $100.
