Japanese Language Expert for AI Model Training

This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your Japanese language expertise in training next-generation AI systems. Your contributions will directly influence how AI models learn, reason, and perform by providing high-quality, real-world input.

• Review and correct machine-generated Japanese transcriptions for accuracy and naturalness.
• Record high-quality short audio clips (approximately 10 seconds each) based on provided transcriptions using your laptop microphone.
• Ensure a quiet and distraction-free environment while recording to maintain audio clarity.
• Deliver clear, accurate, and expressive verbal recordings in accordance with project guidelines.
• Collaborate with the customer’s team of transcriptionists and audio recording experts to maintain consistency and quality.
• Provide detailed feedback on language nuances, pronunciation, and context to enhance AI models.
• Participate in quality control processes to validate data integrity and project success.

• Native-level fluency in Japanese, with a deep understanding of regional and cultural nuances.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Japanese.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to accurately spot transcription errors.
• Comfort with recording your own voice using standard laptop microphones; no specialized audio equipment is needed.
• Reliable access to a quiet recording environment.
• Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining high-quality output.
• Self-motivated and collaborative, able to work independently within a distributed team.

• Previous experience in transcription, audio recording, linguistics, or localization projects.
• Familiarity with AI data annotation or speech recognition software.
• Experience working with diverse teams or contributing to language technology initiatives.

Contract position, fully remote.

Hourly rate of $32 - $35.

No prior experience in AI is required; your domain knowledge is what matters.
