Role Overview
Help improve next-generation AI systems by providing accurate, natural Italian language data. This remote contract role focuses on transcription review, voice recording, captioning, and linguistic feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and correct machine-generated Italian transcriptions for accuracy, completeness, and natural phrasing.
- Record clear audio readings of provided or corrected Italian transcriptions using a standard laptop microphone or better equipment.
- Create detailed Italian transcriptions and captions with consistent, precise output.
- Provide feedback on linguistic and phonetic accuracy in collaboration with the customer team.
- Maintain a quiet recording environment that is free from background noise.
- Communicate progress and updates clearly in writing and verbally.
Qualifications
- Fluent Italian proficiency, including excellent pronunciation and intonation.
- Experience in voice acting, language instruction, linguistics, or a related field.
- Experience with transcription, captioning, or related language-processing work.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Reliable audio-recording equipment, with a standard laptop microphone acceptable.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage your own schedule, and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, clear communication style.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI training data or language-data annotation projects.
- Background in linguistics, translation, or audio engineering.
- Experience working with multicultural, multilingual teams.
Work Terms
- Remote contract engagement.
Compensation
- $15 to $30 per hour.
