Investment Funds Attorney

Apply investment funds and transactional law expertise to help train and evaluate advanced AI systems for real-world contract review. In this remote, part-time contract role, you will use your experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining technology-related agreements to improve AI systems'' ability to identify risk, interpret legal language, and deliver precise legal analysis.

• Complete simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
• Review and assess AI responses to contract scenarios, providing expert feedback that improves model performance and output precision.
• Develop objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for consistent, rigorous assessment of AI contract work.
• Partner with product and research teams to refine training data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-supported contract review.
• Help shape how AI is trained, evaluated, and applied in legal practice.

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• At least 2 years of experience in the funds department of a corporate law firm.
• Experience with contract redlining, contract negotiation, fund formation, fund management, and M&A.
• Familiarity with LPAs, subscription agreements, side letters, ISDAs, and standard M&A agreements.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, close attention to detail, and strong analytical ability.
• Ability to translate legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
• Commitment to innovation at the intersection of law and technology, with experience collaborating across disciplines in fast-paced environments.
• Prior exposure to AI, legal technology, or training initiatives is preferred.

• Remote, part-time independent contractor engagement.
• Work is task-based. Each task has an average handling time of approximately 3.5 hours and must meet project specifications for payment.

• $90 to $180 per hour.
• Payment is based on completed tasks that are successfully signed off, so the effective hourly rate depends on completed task volume.
