Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor database environments to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align database solutions with evolving business needs.
  • Document database configurations, processes, and best practices to ensure operational transparency and continuity.
  • Stay current with emerging SQL and database technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Advanced hands-on expertise with MySQL and PostgreSQL administration.
  • Proven track record in database optimization and troubleshooting.
  • Strong command of SQL for querying, scripting, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document and explain complex technical information.
  • Collaborative mindset and a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment.
Work Terms
