Behavioral Analyst for AI Model Training

Apply behavioral observation and analysis expertise to help improve how AI systems interpret nuanced human behavior. This remote contract role involves analyzing text, audio, and video, identifying subtle behavioral signals, and translating real-world expertise into clear annotations, evaluations, and training materials. Prior AI experience is not required.

• Analyze text, audio, and video data to identify and categorize behavioral cues, including tone, gestures, and speech patterns.
• Create detailed annotations and explanations that help AI systems understand nuanced human behavior and interpersonal interactions.
• Develop scenario-based training materials informed by real-world behavioral expertise.
• Work with project leads to refine annotation guidelines and maintain high-quality deliverables.
• Review AI-generated responses and provide feedback on behavioral accuracy and appropriateness.
• Document insights and best practices for interpreting complex interpersonal interactions.
• Contribute subject matter expertise to ongoing process and quality improvements.

• Background in behavioral therapy, counseling, theater or acting coaching, or a related field involving behavioral observation and analysis.
• Ability to recognize subtle changes in tone, speech, body language, and gestures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and nuance.
• Experience creating training materials or helping others develop skills.
• Strong attention to detail and high standards for quality and accuracy.
• Familiarity with remote collaboration tools and the ability to work independently in a digital environment.
• Interest in applying behavioral expertise to emerging AI technologies.

• Independent contractor engagement.
• Available on either a part-time or full-time basis.
• Fully remote.
• Open to qualified professionals located in Northern America, Latin America, the United Kingdom, Europe, and Oceania.
• The work is tied to a customer project, so engagement is subject to project availability.

Hourly compensation ranges from $20 to $70.
