Acting and Animation Performance Consultant for AI Evaluation

As an Acting & Animation Performance Consultant, you will play a crucial role in creating a performance transfer model that captures the essence of an actor''s original performance, including timing, emotion, and subtle physical choices.

• Establish evaluation standards: Define clear criteria for assessing when a performance has been accurately captured, focusing on emotional resonance and physical fidelity, while identifying shortcomings in current evaluation methods.
• Curate benchmarks: Identify exemplary performances that are easy to capture as well as those that present challenges, providing the model with meaningful tests for evaluation.
• Shape the evaluation pool: Assist in defining the ideal profile, expertise mix, and rubric for human reviewers who will assess outputs at scale.
• Collaborate with other experts: Work alongside fellow subject-matter experts to ensure evaluations remain consistent and accurate.

• 7 to 10 years of professional experience in the entertainment or animation industry.
• A proven track record on 2 or more professional films.
• Specialization in at least one of the following areas: Character Animation (focused on human or character performance), Character Technical Design, Acting Teacher or Coach (film or theater), or Director of Photography (DP).
• A meticulous eye for micro-expressions, emotional beats, and the subtleties that contribute to authentic human performances.
• AI proficiency: Familiarity with AI tools and workflows, including the ability to generate visual samples for testing and comparison.
• Ability to translate complex visual details into clear, precise language suitable for data captions and evaluation templates.
• Willingness to attend in-person working sessions in Playa Vista (Los Angeles), CA or New York, NY once or twice a month.
• (Optional) Reliable access to a 4K-resolution monitor for precise, pixel-level review.

This is a part-time W-2 employment position with Cincinnatus LLC, offering flexibility and the chance to contribute to a leading AI Lab as part of their extended workforce.

Hourly compensation ranges from $60 to $90, commensurate with experience.

Roles hired through Cincinnatus are structured, role-based positions that typically involve part-time or full-time commitments, with close collaboration with client internal teams.
